First of all, this tool is LEGIT. It doesn't feel cheap. The packaging is a little scary, but this thing feels like a top of the line tool. I read these comments and was scared to buy this. No offense, but if you break it, bend the needle or can't figure out how to align it or use it then you are just being careless and shouldn't be doing this yourself anyway. This thing works like a CHARM. I've used this on 5 watches so far and it beasted the job on all of them - Diesel SBA, Diesel Chronograph, Fossil Arkitekt, Seiko Wrist 5 Auto and a FMD Mossimo Skull. The FMD was my guinea pig, as it is a low quality watch and I was scared due to these unwarranted reviews. It works for a $5 watch and it will work for $500 watch. If used CORRECTLY, this thing is totally worth it. I've saved $30, and it hasn't even been 3 days.

This is a excellent product in sizing bands...especially larger size bands..That wouldn't work with the smaller sizing systems..The pouch actually has a good feel to it....and comes with a extra pin extractor if the other breaks...overall for the money its not a bad product..I mean the quality isn't perfect...but for the price it gets the job done...its saved me $$$ already in all the bands in a lot of my oversized watches I've done...than taking into a jeweler....

Pin length is short. I doubt it'll work for most men's watch bracelets.

Great product. Makes taking links out so easy. Adjustable so you can fit any size watch band. Worth purchasing without a doubt. My husband is a watch collector, so it is nice to have professional tools to size his watches myself without having to pay the jeweler to do it. There are other pin removing tools on the market, but this one makes the job so quick and easy. It comes with its own case, which houses the tool. One of the best watch tools I own.

Push pin on mine broke off, rendering this nearly useless now. Kinda expensive. Adjustable depth backing sounds like a good idea, but screwing it in securely enough to prevent it from coming loose is not as easy as it would sound. Can’t really say I’d go and buy this again.

I love it , how and where can I order pins for it…

I've used this link remover successfully on one of my watches and it worked fairly well. I also bought a plastic one in the past from Amazon but it isn't as easy to use as this. I was also glad to see that it came with an extra pin as I'm sure the original will wear out eventually. My only complaint is that after using it 2 times or so I found that the piece that holds the watch from the back tends to slide when trying to push the pin out/back in. This could just be because this watch was older and was harder to remove in general. For the most part when I tightened this part as much as I could it stayed in place. I still recommend this product.

[Reviewer's edit: Prior to a necessary renaming of the product, this meretricious tool used to be called, "High Quality Watch Band Pliers."]Despite the misleading product name, this tool is anything but "high quality." The very first time I used mine, I irreparably bent the thing beyond recognition. It's frightening to imagine how any reviewer could confuse this laughable junk with a quality tool. It is made from cheap, soft base-metal, made in China, suitable for sale in a dollar store, at best. And that's the good news. The bad news is that the design itself is so flawed, illogical, and flat-out wrong, I'm just thankful that it's not an airplane part.
