Dark, beautiful, weighted stones. This necklace looks even better than the picture. A wonderful tool for meditation or prayer. I would say the style reminds me more of rudraksha prayer beads and less of bhuddist prayer beads since it contains 109 beads. This is typical of the hindu style. Most garlands contain 108 beads plus one, as 108 is considered sacred and a suitable number of times to recite a short mantra. The extra bead, called the "meru", bindu or "guru bead", helps mark the beginning and end of a cycle of 108, as well as having symbolic value as a 'principle' bead. It is believed that, as a sacred material, rudraksha beads are able to hold onto to energy of the recited mantra and aid the worshiper in his or her concentration and spiritual development.Regardless of how you use these prayer beads, they are absolutely stunning and well crafted. Thank you for this beautiful gift, I will be buying more in the future.

Absolutely beautiful piece, beads have a little weight on them which make it hang nicely around your neck, the tassel is a charcoal grey nice and soft, and the different tones of grey in the beads make it very classy. They have a soft cool feel to them. Comes in a nice black velvety pouch, delivered timely. Very beautiful piece, price but well worth it. Thinking of ordering more in another color.

Beautiful & elegant warm earth tones as pictured.👉🏽The string is NOT elastic which has its pros & cons; one of the pros being not pulling out your neck or wrist hairs as elastic strung malas expand and contract under the often times heavier weight of natural beads.👉🏽108 beads + 1 (=109) as the center bead that attaches the tassels is no different in size. That's a big deal to some but one bead does not change the intention or manta set for me. It is the reason I left off a star though. I'd rather have a center stone than 2 tassels.👉🏽Beads are the perfect matte finish. They feel soft in their texture not rough at all💗 This mala is very simple and beautiful. It will serve as the perfect gift for our male friend.

I looked at many many Malas before I ordered this one, since I plan to use it for a long time. I chose one that was much more expensive initially, but the company was out of stock- and truly this surprised me (in a good way). Malas of course are a very personal thing, but the color & texture are perfect to me.

I received these beads today and they are a lot darker than the picture and description. I don’t want to fool with returning it because of the hassle of it but I am disappointed with them.

Are these real rocks or porcelain knock-offs? Either way, the handsome heft and variations in color make this a lovely set of meditation beads. Although not individually knotted, the string seems stout and ends in a surprising double tassel. The individual beads are weighty, of differing shapes and pleasing to the touch. Altogether a fine mala for meditation or prayer practice.
