The colors you see in the photo are just what you get when these earrings arrive. I enjoy wearing them especially with purple and navy things. the colors are truly pretty. Sometimes I even use an earring jacket with them though it is not necessary. They are a nice, comfortable size and weight on the ear lobe. It may be lab created but it is surely pretty and, unlike my 'real' opals, this pair I feel well enough about to wear year round. I put my 'real' ones away for the winter. Remember, real opals are 70% water and can crack when going from a place of high temperatures to immediately low ones-as in going from the heated inside to the cold out of doors. My rule of thumb is: under 54 degrees, opals stay inside.
