These are just adorable. My 5 year old's ears would not heal after her piercing. She was devastated because she had waited all year for her special day to get her ears pierced. We switched to these gold earrings and her ears healed within a week. They are tiny so I wouldn't recommend them for over age 7, but they are perfect for 7 and under.

First off, I did not get these for a child. I got these for my second ear piercings since they weren't healing with the stainless steel. They are a good size and have a nice shine to them. I thought they were a bit pricy for the size, but then again- I don't usually buy gold so I honestly don't know what I should be spending. They came nicely packaged- wrapped up in plastic and inside a soft, small, navy bag. The first one went in nicely, but the second one....The post would not go through the hole (I think it had to do with my piercing though) so I had to push pretty hard to get it through. As if that wasn't bad enough- the ear post nut would not go in- the post was to thick for it. I kept trying to push it in (and the fact that the post is small to begin with did not help) and it never went through. All I managed was having my piercing bleed from so much grabbing and moving. So, now I have one ear with a gold nut and the other with a silver one. :(

I bought these little earrings because, even though my ears have been pierced since I was 16, at 53 I am having problems with the holes closing over. I wanted something unobtrusive that could be worn comfortably, day and night, just to keep them open so that, when I want to wear nicer earrings, I don't have to keep poking the holes open again. Post earrings are usually uncomfortable for me, especially at night or when I'm on the phone, so I was looking for something as small as possible.I got these yesterday and immediately put them on. Slept in them last night-- did not even know they were there! Have been on the phone a couple of times today and have not noticed them at all.They are very small, and the posts are not very long. My one concern is that they will fall out with the short posts, but they seem pretty secure. Since the short posts are part of what makes them so wearable, I would not ding them for that, but people should be aware that these posts will be small.

I didn't get these earrings for a child, but because I have multiple ear piercings and I wanted something small for them in gold. These earring are perfect - they are very tiny - even the posts and the backs, but so far they've been great. The color is pretty much how they appear on the screen (at least on my computer).

Tiny as in my 8 year old feared the ball would pull right through her newly pierced (as in 4 months ago) holes/ears. Short of using them for an infant, I don't think they are a great choice for children. Teens and adults that are looking for something tiny for the upper piercings on a multi-pierced ear, maybe. We selected 3mm as that was the size of the pink zircons she chose when she got her ears pierced. These were tinier. I regret the purchase as we tried wearing them and they just weren't working for her.

Very nice and delicate earrings. I am using it for 3 weeks and no problems for now. Really cute and small to use as a second earring.

I bought to wear in one of my multiple ear piercings. Backs stay on well. Came with a tiny black pouch. Overall a very good buy.

Theses small gold ball stud earrings are what I had expected. The backs to the earrings are very small and do not stay on. I lost a back on the second day of use and this is why I gave a 4 instead of 5 star rating
