I have a purple sapphire ring whose color behaves very similarly to the Tanzanite here, and while December's birthstone is more of a blue topaz, I was really happy to finally grab a necklace to match it. Both pieces are stunning on their own, and they compliment one another very well without overpowering the other.The stone is absolutely gorgeous. It's cut beautifully, and the setting really allows the stone to take center stage. The color of the tanzanite is stunning. It looks more blue under some light, more purple under others, very similar to Alexandrite or a purple sapphire. The rest of the pendant compliments the stone itself really nicely. The chain that came with the pendant is beautiful, and while it wasn't part of my decision to grab this necklace, it's nice that I don't have to worry about finding a better chain for it like I often do when buying jewelry. It's a dainty, delicate looking necklace that has been a beautiful addition to my jewelry collection.

So the chain is thinner than appears on the description of the item where the photos are. It does have the s925 stamp on several areas of this. The charm,chain as well as the clasp all have stamps,which I always look for to make sure it's real. The charm is beautiful made.great quality and perfect for any occasion. This is my favorite gem as was my nana who passed a few years back.wish the chain was a bit better because it's such an exquisite piece and so classy looking that having a nicer chain would just make all the difference. Although I have my own chains to use,it is just so much better to have it come with the item. However all around an absolutely amazing item . Definitely reccomend it.

The pendant itself is beautiful and I was so excited to receive it and wear it. However, the included chain is so short. I didn't see anywhere on the listing or description the lenght of the chain, nor did any pictures show it on someone's neck. This chain is small and unfortunately fits me like a choker. Even on my teens it is a short, small necklace. Now I'm needing to order a chain elsewhere that fits the pendant so I can wear it.

Purchased the Alexandrite color for the spouse. It is a beautiful piece of jewelry. The pendant is a decent size and a very beautiful shade/color. Looks exactly as advertised. The chain of the necklace looks simple and elegant, feels delicate, and shines in the light. The clasp is circular spring ring type that can link with several loops at the tail end of the necklace, so slightly adjustable to size for necklace length. Not too certain how long the chain will last since it feels so thin. The necklace (with the pendant) fell just slightly under my spouse's collar bone and looked great on her. Measured the chain portion with the clasp on the last ring to allow for the longest length, and it measured 9 inches. If the chain was opened up and measured, it would likely be an 18 inch chain.

My wife was torn on this one - she loved the stone, but the included chain was less than ideal. It was thin, scratchy, and kinked easily. She's switched the pendant over to a new chain, and it looks great, but she won't be wearing the original chain.

I picked this pendant as a gift to myself celebrating a milestone. The gem is beautiful, the silver is brilliant and the stone is well set. The chain is 16-18 inches and isn't the highest quality, but I had a longer chain to hang this on. I like that this is sterling and not plated or stainless. This would make a nice gift.
