What a lovely way to keep a loved one close by adding them into a charm you can wear anytime you want, or daily. There is a screw to take out, and you funnel in a drop of ash. Make sure not to overfill, but if you do, you can tap some out and then place the screw back in as securely as you can. The ash will remain in there forever. Unless the screw falls out. In this case, if you buy these as gifts for loved ones in your family who all want a piece of wearable ash jewelry, make sure you give them a small bit of ash in a vial or something if this bead gets lost, stolen, or ruined. They can then make a new piece of jewelry they can keep close. I am saying this because I have known people to lose their special necklaces due to theft of a vehicle or other means. Unless the person does not wish to have any. I have kept spare ash of my mom so that I can remake anything if I need to. Stuff happens. This has a nice sentiment on the side of the bead which can be worn alone on a bracelet or necklace to show the meaning, or you can wear it with your other charm beads and not need to tell anyone what this means unless you feel like it. It will blend right in. I would also suggest getting stopper beads for the opening and closing part of a bracelet so this stops the beads from sliding off. There are single-stopper beads if you don't want them connected, I have both styles and these can be found separately by typing in the search bar. I really like the detail of the heart being painted red too. The moon and the stars are a very sweet touch that can symbolize whatever you wish for example- I love you to the moon and back.Sterling silver means this is going to last for years. Quality-made material is less likely to give anyone skin issues unless they are allergic to silver. Makes a special sentimental gift around the holidays or someone's birthday who just lost someone close.
