I'm very disappointed in this chaplet. The wooden beads are very nice, but the images in the scenes of the Seven Sorrows are so blurry that most of them are unrecognizable. They were either copied multiple times, or reduced down from larger pictures, I don't know, but it's completely unacceptable that an image one is supposed to meditate on while praying cannot be seen. The back of these images, an image of Mary with seven swords through her heart, is also poorly executed. Not worth the price at this low level of quality. Again, the wooden beads are nice, but that's about it.

This is a nice devotional rosary of the Seven Sorrows. The black beads for the Hail Marys (seven, not ten like a regular rosary) are evenly shaped and more squared than round. The beads for the Sorrows have tiny pictures of what the Sorrow is, as an aide for remembering that particular Sorrow. Some of the pictures are clear, and some are too dark/ tiny to make out-- at least for my 48 year-old eyes-- so you can't completely rely on the pictures to tell you what each Sorrow is. The accompanying pamphlet gives a nice explanation of the overall devotion and each Sorrow to reflect upon.Disclosure: I received this item for free in exchange for posting my honest review here via the Amazon Vine reviewer program.
