I have been researching the Seiko diver's wristwatches for a while now and settled on this model, Seiko's SRPC91K1 Turtle.After wearing this watch for a week, I can see no drawbacks or weaknesses. I researched the accuracy of this model and found it to be rated as "good" which one review said equates to being in the neighborhood of +/- 10 seconds per day. Given the price of this wristwatch coupled with the fact that it is an automatic rather than a quartz movement, +/- 10 seconds per day is well within reason.Some of the positives that I appreciate the most about this watch are the beautiful blue face, the super bright lume that Seiko uses on its diver's watches, the heavy duty but comfortable silicone diver's strap with quality stainless steel buckle and strap end keeper, the attractive hardlex crystal and the day-date complication.When I started looking at Seiko's diver wristwatches, I was originally looking at the legendary Seiko Prospex SBBN031 stainless steel "Tuna Can" watch, and then the other two Tunas, the "Ninja Tuna" (Seiko Prospex SBBN035) and finally Seiko's flagship diver's watch, the "Darth Tuna (Seiko Prospex SBBN025). Since one of my motivations was to have a more reasonably priced alternative to my Rolex Submariner Date watch for every day wear, I ultimately chose the blue SRPC91K1 Turtle and have no regrets.The Seiko Tuna diver's watches are still tempting but not nearly as much as they were before I got my SRPC91K1 Turtle. If you are considering the blue Turtle, take the plunge - you will have no regrets!
