Four star review. I have a nervous habit of rubbing my mala’s tassel and I wear them every day. As a result of the two bad habits both the string and the tassel break and I have to buy new ones, BUT these are affordable and I keep the broken bits for art projects. If you don’t were them every day and you don’t play with the tassel I’m sure it would last much longer than six months. But this is the most affordable one on Amazon and I’m not sure the more expensive ones would last longer.

The stones are legit and the hand knotting is professional. I use Mala for a lot of things, but primarily as a grounding tool to manage my anxiety. Others I've owned were cheap, stretchy, and broke easily. These feel like they can withstand some wear. A volcanic bead diffusing bracelet was included in the box, too! Overall, very happy with this purchase. Definitely getting more.
