Ok so this is a gorgeous piece, no doubt. But I had to return it for a couple of reasons. First, it is incredibly difficult to turn/bend open, nearly impossible, even with jewelry pliers. Second, once you do finally open it just enough to put on, it's so hard to close, and then align perfectly to allow the little opal to stay in place. I struggled with it for an hour to try to get the hoop closed and aligned to be able to hold the captive bead in, with no success. it's gorgeous, but you will not be able to wear it unfortunately.
