These are attractive earrings, but are a bit heavy. I was definitely aware of having them in. They didn’t drag my earlobes down, but I was happy to take them out after wearing all day.The post is a very shallow hook, compared with all of my other earrings of this type. They fit, but I was a bit worried about them coming out. The weight of them, as well as the main earring itself being so short (not long dangles) meant that they stayed put, but I may add backs to them next time to be sure.The posts are also thicker than most other earrings. I had to wiggle them in. Not sure I want the holes in my ears stretched, so I probably won’t wear these often or for long. My earlobes aren’t sore, exactly, but normally I don’t notice them and I do now, after having worn these earrings and taken them out. Age and gravity are doing plenty: don’t need to make it worse with heavy, wide gauge jewelry!

These earrings come in a very nice presentation box. They are larger than I expected and very lustrous and sparkly. The design gives a modern and unique twist to the pearls. These are attractive and luxe looking and will add sparkle and style to any outfit. The only issue with these very pretty earrings is that the hooks are very short (and do not come with rubber stoppers to keep them from working their way out) The hook itself is much thicker than I am used to and it was hard to get it through my ear lobe. Once I did get them in, they looked lovely, but my ears felt a bit irritated and sore due to the size of the hook, which is a shame because they are really very attractive. I was really glad to remove them at the end of the day (and I wear fairly large earrings every day so am used to earrings that dangle) and it took awhile for my ears to not feel sore. Otherwise these are very pretty and will add class and elegance to your look.
