This is a little bit lighter weight and less substantial than I expected it to be. The beads are very small, I was expecting them to be a little bigger. I'm assuming they really are pink aventurine, but honestly the rosary is so lightweight it almost feels like plastic. The metal is okay quality, not heavy but not the super lightweight kind in the really cheap rosaries either. But for this price point I would expect just a bit more. The case it comes with is a nice bonus, and would make it a nicer option for gifting. But this is probably best as a gift for a kid - either a first communion or confirmation gift.

I was so excited to get my new rosary and upon first impression the box and metal embellishments were very nicely crafted. I decided to use it that night and when I went to put it away I saw my hand was stained with the blue dye used to stain the beads. I was hoping it was a one time thing and the next night, same thing. At this point I am kind of scared thinking what chemicals could be in the dye. I realize some beads are enhanced with dye colors but never had it wear off on my hands before. The rosary & box are very pretty, perhaps the pink isn't like the blue? I don't know what would happen if I washed it.with the metal..... (?)

I like the look and feel of this rosary. It has a bit of weight to it and is smooth when running through the prayers. The case is also good quality. I was expecting the blue beeds to have a lighter tone but it's still very nice. I am happy with this product.
