I have another necklace with a similar design, but I liked this because it's an opal, and I don't have an opal necklace like this. I'm not sure if it's a real opal or not, but I don't really care. It looks like one, and it's pretty. The opal bit actually moves, so it catches the light in different ways, making it a bit more interesting. The chain is adjustable for different lengths - I really love that, so it can work with different necklines without looking for a different chain that's the correct length. This is a little more dressy than I'd wear with super-casual clothes, but not too fancy for nice-casual. I really like this one a lot.

Great looking piece for birth stones. Chain is dainty and short. So be aware if you have a thick neck. Otherwise very nice and light piece with no flaws!

This is a beautiful necklace! The color of the gemstone pops and the design is elegant. The chain is a little weak feeling but most are. The gemstone in the middle moves as it's attached to the rest by a ring which I didn't notice when first getting it, but now that it arrived it's clear. It's not bad but just something to be aware of. Comes in a nice box. Overall it's a nice gift with a variety of color options.

The pendant reminds me a bit of a treble cleff. Dainty and pretty, seems good quality. The necklace is definitely on the shorter side, but pendant can be removed and put on another chain if needed/wanted.
