Beautiful pin with nice detail. It is smaller than I expected (might have misread or misinterpreted the size at 2 inches circumference (it is maybe 2 inches diameter.) Actually I am glad it was smaller, as it will be easier to pin to lighter fabrics.My great-grandmother, gone for decades now, used to wear a lot of jewelry (good stuff and costume), and we called her "Diamond Lil." She always gave me an inexpensive but nice costume jewelry pin or pin set for a Christmas gift when I was a child in the 50s and into the 60s. I have managed not to lose a few of them, and they are treasures to me. This poinsettia pin reminded me of her and those days and gifts.
