I bought this necklace once before and the rose colour of the beads are more like a slightly pinkish-red, which I really loved. My mother had seen my necklace and commented how much she liked it, so I decided to buy one for her to surprise her. I was the one who got a bit of a surprise when the colour of the beads of hers are more of a purplish-red! It's still a pretty necklace, but the beads don't really 'pop' like mine do. I hope she will still like it. It probably looks a bit more ruby-ish, and she loves rubies. I just wish that the colour had been consistent, because I won't know until Christmas if she likes it, and by then I wouldn't be able to return it or exchange it because the return/exchange window will be closed. I had thought of trying to exchange it now, but they are probably using the same colour beads for all the newer produced necklaces.Other than the beads colour, the necklace is identical to mine and it is dainty and so pretty. The wire-wrapping detail is what makes this necklace look so eye-catching and unique!

I bought this one to compare with the Miabella chains and the ZheBylia chain. All in flat mariner style. I absolutely love the flat mariner style and was considering buying a 22k flat mariner in the thousands of dollars. Instead, I decided to see how much I liked these plated ones. I’m glad I did because while they don’t have the weight of the very expensive ones, they’re very pretty and stylish. I have to say that this brand Mevecco was my least favorite. The yellow of the finish was ok but the amount of shine was unnatural, in fact it was so shiny that it looked plastic. When I picked it up, the Mevecco also felt like plastic. That said, the design is cute and it looks good in photos even in darker light. I thought the ZheBylia was a tiny bit too dark but it looked more realistic for that reason. I prefer the ZheBylia finish to the Mevecco. However they’re both very light and get twisty turvy as you wear them, whereas I think a necklace with more weight would not do that. Overall I prefer the MiaBella even though it is four times the price.
