i never had a big necklace like this before.it looks nice and it has genuine glass beads.There are 3 strands of beads.This ISHVAKU brand necklace is handmade in India.This Brown Topaz and Gold beaded necklace looks pleasant, the amber colors are nice to wear this fall/autumn.i like the shape of the beads.This necklace comes in a beautiful drawstring bag with a gold roses pattern.i definitely give it 5 stars.i hope this review is helpful.Sabiene :)

I want to start this review off by saying I make hand knotted malas and I know good quality handmade jewelry when I see it. As soon as I took it out of the organza bag it was literally thrown in I noticed about 4 of the gold beads the paint is chipped off. The hand knotting is not good at all. The knots are supposed to be up against each bead tightly holding it in place. This handknotting is not like that. It looks like a beginner did the knots. It also appears some of the knots were burned with a lighter. Why I dont know. Quality malas use silk thread. This appears to be nylon. The beads are not quality beads. Actually very cheap glass beads. If the beads were not chipping and the craftsmanship were better this would be perfect. I can say it looks good on and one will only notice imperfections if they get a bit close but for almost $40 I want perfect. The pendant is pretty though. If it were me actually paying money (even though I get taxed on this stuff) I wouldn't buy for this amount of money. Hopefully this review was helpful.

I love this! I might have to just have a pink one too. It is so very pretty. It's well made, and it does NOT catch my extra-long fine hair whatsoever. It's very hair friendly. The part that goes around the neck is wrapped well with thread, and I think that helps make this one of the more comfortable long, big necklaces I've had.I have worn it swimming IN the water, and it did fine.It's long but very full and quite striking. I highly recommend this style. I have 3 styles of necklace from this maker, and while they are all pretty, this is by far the best.

The Amazon photo makes this necklace look more polished than it actually is. I looked the necklace over carefully, and there aren’t any glass beads as described. It’s essentially a triple layered plastic bead necklace. It doesn’t look like a $30.00 necklace. Not one of my better orders, I’m afraid. I can't recommend.

My wife was incredibly impressed with the look of the item when we viewed it on the site. Then the necklace itself arrived, and it wasn’t exactly what we bargained for. However, it’s still a solid piece of costume jewelry, but if you’re looking for the real thing this may not be for you.From a distance, everything looks wonderful. The tooth is the standout piece of the necklace, and from a distance it looks the part. A deep brown coloring with amber tones and some marbling elevates the tooth and it really draws attention. The simple “stones” that sit atop the tooth are serviceable for costume jewelry. It helps to draw the eye to the tooth.The beading has some issues, but it’s not a dealbreaker. There’s a small section of gold-colored beads that are basically just a hard plastic bead with gold paint slapped on. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it’s something to be aware of. If those beads rub against each other too much the paint could chip.The beading underneath the small amount of “gold” beads are quite nice. They’re larger in size and have a lovely amount of dark coloring. A mixture of dark brown, dark amber with a tiny bit of red makes for perfect combination. Well done.The beads that make up the majority of the necklace are ok. These have more of a bronze tone, but they have a bit of shine (thanks to the beads being made of glass! PLEASE keep this in mind! You don’t want to sleep with this piece on!) that adds some flair to the beads themselves.The necklace itself is quite lengthy! About 33-inches. The tooth itself is 3.5 in length, again, making it the star of the entire ensemble!Overall, this is a solid piece. It’s a wonderful piece of costume jewelry that’s mostly well made. It has a few issues, but nothing that would alarm me. Still, I would definitely make sure this is exactly the style of necklace that you’re looking for. This necklace-type has an incredible history behind it and I would encourage anyone who’s purchasing it to read about. It gives you a better understanding of what exactly you’re buying and the meaning behind it!4 out of 5!
