I can't attest to the durability of this necklace because I just received it today. It is really cute! It is nicely sized, but not too big. I would not call this dainty. One thing which is a bit off is that the chain does twisting itself when hanging, despite that I have made attempts to ascertain that the chain is not twisted. When being worn, the chain does not twist while around your neck because your neck keeps the chain apart from itself, as well as the weight of the initial keeps the chain in place. My chain did come with a kink in it, but I was able to release the links which were stuck together. For the price, this is really cute.
