Bindhani Indian Bollywood Style Gold-Plated Earrings With Mang Tikka Set

Culture: Bindhani Mang Tikka is deeply rooted in Indian culture, especially in weddings. It symbolizes the auspicious union of two souls and is considered a symbol of marital bliss.

Mang Tikkas are versatile and can be worn on various occasions:

  • Weddings: A bride typically wears an ornate Mang Tikka to symbolize her marital status.
  • Festivals: Women adorn themselves with Mang Tikkas during festivals like Diwali or Karva Chauth for a traditional and elegant look.
  • Dance Performances: In classical Indian dance forms like Bharatanatyam, dancers often wear Mang Tikkas as part of their costume.
  • Cultural Celebrations: Mang Tikkas are worn during cultural events and celebrations to showcase Indian heritage and traditions.

Single-Strand: A simpler, single-chain style with a pendant that hangs at the center of the forehead. The chain is typically worn along the hairline or attached to a hairpin or hair accessory to keep the Mang Tikka in position, allowing the pendant to hang gracefully on the forehead. It not only serves a practical purpose by keeping the Tikka in place but also adds to the overall aesthetic of the traditional Indian bridal or festive look.

Overall, the Mang Tikka is more than just an accessory; it's a cultural symbol that adds grace and charm to Indian attire, whether traditional or contemporary.

It was nice not as shiney as I thought it would be its size is just like the pictures indicate I wore it to an outdoor event and got lots of compliments

Tiffany Rice
I was hesitant of this purchase but it turned out pretty good the quality is great for the price it does hurt your ears if you are sensitive like me but not too much earings are heavy.

Elizabeth Johnson
I was a bit skeptical about ordering this since it's pretty inexpensive for Indian jewelry, but it looks so beautiful in person. It's very lightweight and comfortable to wear. Like another reviewer said, the tikka might be a bit short for some people but it can be covered with your hair unless you have a middle part.

CAN'T WEAR ONE EARRINGS, POST IS TOO BIG AND CANNOT INSERT IN ONE EARS WITHOUT DAMAGING MY EARLOBE. I HAVE TO TOSS IT. WASTED MONEY AND NOT HAPPY AT ALL.

Brittney Mitchell
I order this for a party but i used only earings not tikka because it look like used and broken and then sealed again with iron glue and uper 4 stone are attached in one line so ur tikka will be up from forhead it cant be attached on forehead.. i get very disappointed and upset because of tikka coz its my first time to wear tikka and i missed that because of disgusting material.. sending it back to amazon next day

Randy Fox
Great quality piece. Gave 4 stars as I Wished the earring backs were a bit sturdier to support weight. Other than that aspect it is a great find on Amazon
