This is a 14K gold plated bracelet with small round beads that stretch open to fit over your wrist. It is engraved nicely with whatever letter you choose. The heart and beads are a little smaller than I expected, so hard to see the engraved initial. It is very shiny when new, but remember this is gold plated, so over time will likely tarnish. It comes in a nice case, so makes it good for gifting. The stretch is the perfect amount for my wrist as an adult woman. But would also fit well on a teenager. It might or might not be too large for a young child (I'm not sure). Depends on how small the person's wrist is. It fits perfectly snug so as to not fall off and is not loose, so does not move around. But not so snug that it feels tight in any way whatsoever, and not tight where it would leave any mark when removed. For the price, it is everything I would expect and I would recommend.
