I love this bead - it combines my love of knitting and basketmaking. The detail is amazing. I cannot see the .925 Sterling stamp and am hopeful that it is truely solid sterling and not plated. This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I see another seller posted the same bead for a few dollars more and claims theirs is stamped, too. Only time will tell. The great news is that is came all the way from Hong Kong in well under a week.

My husband bought me this charm and I love it. I did not see the 925 stamp but I did see something on the bottom of the piece that could have been markings or scratch - took it to the local jewelry store and with their equipment, could read the 925 stamp. I would recommend this charm for both knitters and basket collectors.
