I selected this as a gift, so this is just a guy's perspective on women's jewelry and value of the product...The pendant appears a little bigger in the advertised pictures, but the product I received is definitely valid in size according to the product description and overall appeal. The finish is smooth and shiny, and the stones are the color and quality you see in the advertised pictures. It is, overall, a pretty and well-balanced birthstone pendant.The chain, on the other hand, is significantly smaller than it appears in the advert pictures. The image makes it look substantial while still dainty, but the actual product is extremely delicate. I am afraid to test it's durability for fear of breaking it. I know women do wear chains of this delicacy - just want to make sure you know that's what you are getting. On the plus size, it does have multiple loops so that the hanging length can be adjusted, which is a nice feature on any type of necklace so that you don’t have to just settle for wherever the pendant lands.Everything comes in separate packaging; the chain and pendant are each contained in individual baggies. It is very easy to put it all together and display it in the box that is of surprisingly nice quality! The cover is padded and rounded. I don't know what the material is, but it is not one of those cheap cardboard-type jewelry boxes. The felt board has a little bendable clip to hold the charm in place.Overall, I'm pleased with the selection. Despite the point about the chain, I think this would be a valid purchase if you like what you see in the advertised pictures and descriptions. The family member I gave it to adores it and appreciates the quality as well, so I guess it's a winner!

Got this necklace for my teenage daughter for Christmas. Purple is her favorite color, she loves butterflies, and the cross is a beautiful addition. The cross pendant is a good size, not too small or too big. The chain feels durable. Will be especially beautiful for spring/easter.

It isn’t too small nor is it too large. It’s the perfect size for a cross necklace. Sometimes to necklace does feel cold on my skin but overall I enjoy the feeling of having Christ right where I can find him.
