I was looking for an everyday earing, and had to find some that were at least 10k gold because of allergic reactions to sterling silver, and I wasn't sure if plated gold would work for me, but I've been wearing them every day for a couple of months, and I've had no allergic reaction. These are beautiful and unique. I chose the black colored metal, and these look a bit vintage, which I like a lot. The leverback clasp is a lot larger and longer than the average leverback, but they're very comfortable. I leave them in, and so far, so good. I highly recommend them.
