Only a little bit disappointed, they are not as deep purple as I would have liked, they are more of a periwinkle purple or the alexandrite light purple. That said, they are dainty beautiful butterfly earrings with 925 stamped on the post and backs only, the metal on the butterfly might be another alloy so be careful if you have sensitive ears. You could use a clear coat of nail polish 1-2 coats on the back of the earrings on the metal if you have a steady hand and wait for them to dry between coats if they irritate your ears. Wait for them to fully dry before wearing them. These should be okay for most people unless you are allergic to sterling silver.Wipe down with a soft cloth after each use, damp or dry. Place in a jewelry bag or box until the next use. Do not store in a damp room like a bathroom or a window sill. Because there is a questionable alloy used, you do not want these to tarnish, rust, or corrode. You can hand wash these with mild soap, water, and a soft toothbrush, scrub, rinse, and dry them with a soft cloth when they are looking very dirty.These are dainty and small-size studs, that can work as your main piercing or an accent in the next piercing over if you have multiple piercings.Picking silver purple may be much lighter purple than you anticipate unless they update the pictures or item the pair I received are periwinkle or alexandrite shade. As far as I know, there are no such options available. At this time of the review look at the 5th photo down in the silver-purple set of earrings by themselves, not on models, which is a bit closer to the actual color. The other photos are much darker.They would make a nice gift for girls, preteens, teens, and ladies for their birthdays, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and many other special occasions.4 stars for not a true color match, and unlisted alloy on the earring itself, not the posts or backs- those are sterling silver stamped. Sparkly CZ gems regardless of my opinion. Dainty.

These ribbon studs are super cute, sized just right for stud earrings and are made well. The posts are sturdy and don't cause my sensitive ears to react at all. They are also very sparkly and really stand out even though they're on the smaller side. For that reason, I feel it's more suited for going out at night rather than everyday wear. It would definitely make a nice statement piece paired with a simple black dress for semi-formal wear.I ordered the gold pair and in person looks more silver for some reason. My pic doesn't capture how sparkly they are in real life. On that same note, if you like very sparkly earrings then I suggest giving this pair a try. The price doesn't hurt either.

I was surprised at how well made these were. They are a gift for my daughter and perfect for an 8 year old girl. They also come with a pretty soft felt bag so it's perfect to give to a young girl as a gift. Vibrant purple. I love them!

These are such cute, dainty earrings. They’re small but so full of character. The posts on the back seem very very long though. I can put the metal backer AND the plastic bumper on and not feel like my ears are being pinched. I don’t suggest sleeping in these. Your head will hate you.

I liked that these came in a soft beautiful gift pouch (instead of a traditional box). I like that they included 2 different backs. I loved the color and that they were light weight. What I didn't like was the size. As you can see from the photo, both earrings are smaller than a dime. I am not a huge fan of large earrings, but these are more the size for an elementary school child than an adult. Unless you are wearing your hair up, they will be very hard to see.

These earrings are so cute, I love the color of the gems. It came in this little almost velvet storage bag and I thought that was a plus. The earrings themselves are pretty tiny, good studs. These would be great for a gift.
