These earrings are very pretty but they didn't come with any earring backs to them. They don't make a complete loop and don't connect to anything. They get caught in long hair and the masks some of us still have to wear these days.

These are a cute pair of partial hoop earings. I really like the unique shape of them. I saw someone describe them as DNA shaped and I would agree. I personally like the fact that they are very light weight which makes them easy to wear especially for extended periods of time. These aren't going to pass for high quality, but they are a reasonably priced and unique addition to a costume jewlry collection.

I got these for my daughter, and here is what she said:"Overall, even with a few issues, I love them!Pro's:Super shiny and lightweight. Simple and can go with any outfit. Sweet little golden leaves, with (what looks like) a chomp taken out of the side by a little critter. I got them because they reminded me of animal crossing new leaf! FUN!Con's:However, there are 2 minor problems with these earrings.1) The first is that the posts are very thin, so the backings do not click into place very well. I looked for other backings to try, but they were also too big to fit tightly onto the thin posts.2) The second problem is that the posts are extra-long. I guess this might be great for somebody who has very thick ear lobes, but they are too long for an average ear. They would be very uncomfortable to sleep in.So even with the cons listed above, I recommend these earring, as they are shiny and cute!"

I originally got these earrings as a gift to a biologist friend because the design looked like DNA strands, but the prongs of both earrings were bent totally out of shape and when I tried to straighten them out, they snapped. The earrings themselves were scratched up a bit, like the gold plating was coming off a little on the ends of the earrings. Overall, I would not purchase these again or request a replacement.

Like I said in my headline, I got a few compliments every time I wore these. Which was only 3 days total. Then I went to put them on and noticed it felt really weak in one spot and picked it up to look and it just snapped in half in my hand. Super bummed about it. Don't buy it unless you want them for a night or two only.

If you are a fan of the popular video game and you want a subtle way to communicate to others that Tom Nook has your Bells these earrings are great. The color: spot on. The weight: perfectly lightweight. The shine: nice! Do they hurt my ears? Not for the several hours I've been wearing them.The only CON about these is that one of the backings was just a hair loose and I just tightened it myself. Otherwise these are near perfect. I love these almost as much as I love Daisy Mae selling turnips for 90 Bells and the Twins buying them for 526 Bells that same week!
