Purchased this band over five (5) months ago. In my opinion, it is a quality product that looks great and feels comfortable. It has a double safety catch so I have no concerns about it coming loose and slipping off my wrist. I would definitely purchase this item again.

I have yet to find out the longevity of this band. However, my opinion at this point is that it is very nice for the price. I couldn't justify the $160 Luminox band, so this seemed to be the next best thing. The original rubber band with the ridges near the watch was very uncomfortable as it dug into my skin. Also, the buckle was extremely uncomfortable. I work hard and needed something that can withstand punishment. I am leary of the springboard clasp release, though. Just something else to fail in time. I have it four stars because of the relief it has given my wrist. It is nice looking and was easy to size. I didn't buy the kit to take the links out and was able to do it with a small nail. I took one out on each side. Fits great, looks good. Only time will tell the true quality.

Did not match with the matte black color of the watch. It got shinnier in time. Black finish is not uniformly applied throughout the band. Do not waste your dough on this product. False advertisement. Not Luminox.

I postponed buying this produce for over a year based on a previous negative review.Now that I have actually put the band on my watch and have been using it for a while, I wish I would have ignored the negative post.The band I received fit perfectly onto my Luminox 8400. There are no "sharp edges". It is comfortable, and I wish I would have bought this years ago when I first got the watch.
