Bold, bright and fun handmade earring set that adds some boho flair to your outfit. The red is a great color of red, not a classic red but just off from that. The extra 10 clear earring backs that are enclosed are a nice tough. I'm rating this 4 stars as there is several spots where the wrapped rattan material does not cover the inner metal and it shines through - to be fair all but one of the bare spots is in the back, but I'm planning on using these in a way that the back will show so this does matter some to me. Possibly I can finagle the rattan a tiny bit and cover some of these bare spots. Also, my set of earrings is much less of a matching set than the pair that is shown in the posting - I'm just mentioning this and not taking any stars away for that because that's the nature of homemade items, and they still look very good, and I really like them.

A lot of times statement earrings are heavy and leave a person feeling like their ears are going to fall off. These are happily not that way. They're comfortable, and they look great. Perfect for spicing up a drab outfit.

These are really cute dramatic earrings. They're large, maybe an inch from shoulder but very lightweight. They probably aren't for sensitive ears, though--the metal is thinly plated (that's the 4-star reason). The posts look to be stainless and the backs are silicone. They do come with several extra backs (they are clear and probably easily lost when you take them off). The design is really cute and I the red I ordered is not a "bold" red, but more of a Nantucket red. Overall they're an on-trend bold earring, perfect for spring and summer.
