My first impression was it's too small, and the gold chain doesn't look like gold (color is different from my 18k gold jewelries). But the pearl looks heavy and good quality. After I started wearing it, I feel this is a good subtle necklace. The darker golden chain actually went well with the small pearl, to stay more hidden.It's a good everyday piece, but may not impress someone who you gift it to.

This is a pretty pearl necklace. The chain is .925 sterling silver covered with gold (I'm not sure what type of gold material this is). There is one freshwater clear white pearl of standard size that is on the chain. The pearl is opaque and lovely. The set is very gift able and would be a nice gift for a teenager. The quality is excellent and I am happy with the purchase.

What a beautiful necklace! I first love the lovely packaging and how feminine it all looks! This would make a very nice gift to impress someone! The pearl is also a perfect size! I think the hole could have been drilled a little smaller in diameter, but this is still an excellent real pearl. All kinds of jewelry have gotten expensive, even individual larger pearls, and at this price you normally see shell pearls with sterling silver. At first I thought there were scratches on the pearl, but they were just fine black fibers from the box's inside.I'm not sure if the "golden chain" is gold-plated or merely gold tone, but it looks like the former. It's not a heavy chain, and at this price point you would never expect it to be, but it's more than sturdy enough to be seen as well as to hold the pearl.
