i bought this for my husband for a upcoming gift, this is really a nice wooden watch i didn't expect for it to be this nice but its definitely nice enough to give as a gift, the face place and dial looks very professional and not cheap, my husband wanted a wooden watch so this is definitely a future gift

Where do I start?? Let me start with this…. I have been collecting watches for almost 6 years now and have a little over one hundred of them. Now I only say that to put what I’m about to say into a little perspective. My watches range in price from $20.00 to $350.00 (quartz and automatics alike) and I love them all with some being my favorites for various reasons. This watch has to be in my top two (2) most beautiful pieces in my collection now. This is an absolute gorgeous timepiece. I have looked at “wooden watches” before but never had any of them really catch my attention like this one. I looked at all the specs and it met all of my criteria and then I saw the engraving(s) on the back and that was a deal breaker for me (bummer…a little awkward ordering a watch for myself and from myself with this kind of engraving). THEN I had an epiphany!! I told my wife about it and showed her the pictures and she fell in love with it too… so long story short, she had me order it for her so she could give it to me… I know, a little weird but it works!!This is a larger watch at 44mm but I have a larger wrist so it looks great. The dark green dial (with a sunburst effect) looks stunning against the light gray (maple wood) bezel surround, along with the matching gray maple wood inserts on the brushed stainless steel bracelet and clasp (clasp isn’t brushed). The clasp feature is unique, it is a double clasp (locking each side to the center). The watch also has another unique feature on the dial . It has a contrasting blue subdial at 12 o’clock to track A.M., P.M., high noon and midnight. Very cool! Last but certainly not least, it has another subdial at 6 o’clock that serves as the seconds hand and is done in a lightly brushed steel with a blue hand. I love the metal colored Roman numerals that nicely contrast with the green dial. I also like the blue hour and minute hands for more subtle contrasting but my opinion is that they could have gone with hands that match the numerals for an easier read in lower light (a small complaint).The only other small negative I have is the bracelet size. It is calling out as a “mens standard” which comfortably fits me most of the time (22cm) but this one is running just a little small. It fits, but just barely, and there are no micro adjustments in the bracelet or clasp. I only need one more link (2 would be to much) to make it perfect. I don’t want to break up the matching bracelet and bezel with a different bracelet/band (that was the whole point of this great piece), so I am going to try to reach out to the manufacturer to see if they will send me an extra link.All in all I don’t think you will be disappointed in this watch….but you might need someone else order it for you!! Highly recommended
