This is a great presentation and gives the earrings a step up in appearance and presentation. So you're starting off on great footing. Now she opens the box and there are two very attractive pearls. But they are not just attractive - they are funky, fun, unique, interesting, playful, and lovely all at once. She loved them! We both found them to be bigger than we expected. Not a bag thing, just a surprise. They look smaller in pics (see her modeling for an idea of size). The backings are well done as are the overall pieces - they look and feel like they will last a good long time. There is a nice, upscale quality here.The pearls themselves, being unique, large, and again, kind of funky looking, are well balanced with each other and match on size. Someone took the time to make sure they work as a pair.My wife is thrilled. That smile is not fake - it's truly a genuine love of these earrings. I love it! Those earrings looks amazing!But after I wear it a few days in a row, I had allergic reaction on my ears. It's happened if I wear metalic earrings, not gold or silver.

These earrings are my introduction to the Birger Jarls brand. I was drawn to the lovely naturalistic look of these earrings. The Baroque pearl drops coupled with the 14K gold filled wires make these earrings very unique.I was really disappointed when these earrings arrived and one of them was broken. They came packaged with care and nicely presented. So, I can only assume that the earrings were placed in the box in a broken condition rather than damaged in transport.I notified Amazon and exchanged these for another pair. Well, that pair came with a broken earring as well!So while beautiful and unique in theory, I'm afraid the quality is lacking.

Per the wife: These Baroque Pearl Drop Earrings are gorgeous. The pearls are larger than I expected, and are really stunning. These are perfect for work (it will dress up your dress or suit) or for a fancy night out. They look very expensive. They are 14k gold, which is better for your ears (the cheap stuff causes me to get headaches) and classic (they will never go out of style). I have received numerous compliments.

I think the pair I received got damaged in delivery, the large pearl was disconnected from the earring hook. I think the pearls may have jangle around in the box, thus disconnecting them. They are beautiful earrings, full of style and grace. They look sophisticated and the luster of the pearls are just amazing! I took one star off because the earrings require some assembly. Luckily for me I used to make jewelry, and have my tools to fix it. I love the style of these! I am a huge pearl fan, and I own many kinds and style of pearls, but these large baroque are some what my favorite. To me they look like fish with large bodies and a tail. I have a ring, and necklace like this, and these earrings match perfectly! I am just saddened that for the price range they did not come in a more secure package with maybe some plastic to hold the large pearl down, and from getting damage. Otherwise these are gorgeous and unique earrings!

These are lovely, irregular pearl earrings. Unfortunately, both of mine came broken in the box. Not exactly broken, but the jump rings that held the little gold bar were open and the pieces were apart. I just used some needle nose pliers and put them back together. Also, one of mine has a little blob in the side (I attached a photo). I guess it is the nature of natural items, but wanted to mention it in save you wanted them to be really uniform and perfect. I like the irregularities, though.Overall they are very different, yet still pearl earrings so they don't look out of place even for formal wear. I did take a star for having to put them back together. Maybe they should have been in little zip bags in a box to protect them better during shipping.
