I had been really excited when I got these about a month ago, but about a week ago one side broke so that the metal part with the thread was still on but the purple ball was off. I tried to take the other side off in order to take it off and it’s also broke the same way, which meant a painful experience having to pull the whole thing through my piercing and doing it’s own damage to my ear. It was a really disappointing and painful experience.

Ball very hard to screw on, strongly recommend you go to a piercer, otherwise you will end up losing the ball by doing it yourself.

I love these! The 3mm balls unscrew from both sides they are small but it's what I wanted my hair doesn't get caught on them just make sure you screw them on correctly or you will lose the balls. Got these to match the barbells I ordered about 4 months ago they are made well so I knew what to expect with these. I just ordered more in different colors

This item, the horseshoes are in my lobe piercings. I wanted to post this because when I was trying to figure out what type or size piercing to get, no one had a pic so I could tell the size. I purchased these and the horseshoe ones, to get titanium for my tragus piercings, which were very irritated with surgical steel. These end up sticking out at the bottom too far for a tragus. I was worries about them getting caught. So I used the horseshoes in my tragus, and these in my lobes. I love the look, but if you're someone who wants everything perfectly symmetrical, these aren't for you since both twirl in the same direction. You can see in my pics they sit differently in the right and left ears. They are easy to get in, but then because the ball is so small, it is hard to get on. I had to have my husband do it. When I put these in, I immediately noticed a huge difference! Much lighter and so much less irritating than surgical steel! Even though the balls are small, they are super sparkly!! Others have reported that the balls crumble, I will update my review if I have this happen. But, so far, I'm very happy with these!
