I waited to write a review until I had a chance to really see how they looked in different kinds of lighting and how they looked in pictures... They're extremely difficult to spot in pictures no matter what the lighting and my husband actually thought I took out my snake bites for a few days.Durability wise... I am still in the playing stage and these have held up remarkably well to all kinds of chewing and wiggling. I am actually looking to order the next size down in the next week as these aided the healing process tremendously!

These will work for my surgery because I just need them to be temporary. However, they were extremely hard to put together. The bar bent to easily for me to snap the ball on. It took me at least 30 min a piece to get them in. Then the ball of one just keeps falling off. Hoping they just last until my surgery is over. I only have one more day to get through.

Looks good, pretty discrete. It's clear you're wearing something when you're up close, but at more than ~5ft it's nearly invisible. On the down side, the threading is *sharp*. I've used threaded and threadless jewelry. I've used internal threading and external threading... these still cut my ear every time I put them in.
