I purchased this hoop some time ago and am just getting around to reviewing it. I passionately hate the annoyance of captive ball rings, and after years of struggling with them I decided to look for alternatives. I need to be able to remove my piercings easily for diagnostic imaging tests such as MRIs and XRays, so I can't get away with wearing permanently closed hoops like I did in my younger days. I need a bunch of hoops for various piercings, but decided to start with one to test it out. I have to say, I love it.I've been wearing the 8mm size in my oldest hole on an earlobe just to test for reactions before moving it to any of my more sensitive locations, but I love it so far after about a month of use. In terms of diameter, the 8mm is compact. There's still a gap where it falls below my earlobe, but not a huge gap (I'll post a photo when I get around to it). I haven't tried it in my tragus yet, but I suspect the fit will be just right.In terms of the closure, this is frickin' fantastic. Frickin' FANTASTIC! It opens and closes easily but snugly enough that it doesn't open inadvertently. It looks darn near seamless when closed and I can spin it freely in the hole without feeling a catch on any of the seams. I find it to be very well made and comfortable.Historically, I am not super sensitive to metals, but I do itch and turn colors if they are total junk and I've had no problems yet with this hoop. I know you get what you pay for and $10 is a fair price point, but my only complaint is the lack of a bulk discount. I'd love to have a bunch of these and I can't make that happen at $10 each. Overall though, I'm tickled pink with this purchase.

Great nose ring, I've worn it for months with no issues or reactions to the material. I like the fact that it has a closure, it does not accidentally come out at all!

I love this nose ring! I got the 20 g. 7 mm and it fits perfectly. It’s great for sensitive skin and super cute! Easy to insert and close the clasp.

This is one of my favorite hoops that I order from Amazon, they're easy to put in. They're easy to clean, my only issue with this brand is it has a hinge on it and when you open and close it the hinge gets loose. I actually had a hinge break off and had to throw the nose ring away. Luckily, I did get a lot of use out of it before I had to throw it away ans order a new one.

I tried to open by hand and with tweezers...no luck. I had to open this with pliers, so I thought maybe the hinge needed to be loosened, but (even after opening and closing it with the pliers a few times) it was no easier to open/close. I figured closing it in my nose would be a little risky (since pliers seemed to be the only way I could open this). It turned out to not be an issue because I could not fit this in my piercing. For 18g, it seems to be a little big. The metal is shinier than other hoops I have and the actual size of the hoop is so cute, but unfortunately it scares me to even try to use for fear of stretching my piercing and having such difficulty with opening/closing.

Order arrived quickly. I got 10g silver clicker. No issues a month in. I would like to point out I am still wearing them mostly because I can't get them to open. Fits well true 10g. Absolutely durable.
