The stone is gorgeous. It’s actually Rhodonite not Rhodochrosite. The chain should be sterling silver not stainless steel, it’s too dark.That was the reason for the 4 stars and the stone was different from description. Rhodonite is a pale pink with brownish uneven lines through it and Rhodochrosite is more rosy with more defined whiteish lines that look layered.

My birthday is in October so I love opals. I must not have read the description well. This is a solid opaque white “crystal”, it does Not have any opal coloring, and does not have any depth to color. I am unsure that it is a crystal as it does not stay cold to the touch.
