I love cicadas and my coworkers make fun of me. So this year with a potential double brood coming, I’m prepping. This necklace looks great. The detail is great. Will it last until the next brood? Unlikely it’s pretty cheap feeling. Super light. But it was not expensive so I did not expect it to be event this good. For anyone looking for cheap costume jewelry for the pending brood. I recommend it. I think it will look great against a black shirt.

I am fascinated by cicadas and their mystical cycle of life! This piece is very well made! I am not a "necklace", but have been wearing this little creature every day :) The chain is usual, kind of cheap, rough in places. Will replace it with something else, but will keep the length.
