It is exactly what I expected! Polished wooden beads that look beautiful around my wrist. I got the 10mm and it’s perfect size for my fingers in meditation. I’m also happy that the string is not elastic but a strong and sturdy one. I highly recommend!

I have arthritis at the base of my thumb, which makes using a mala with small beads difficult. The 12mm beads are perfect - large enough that I can grip them without closing my thumb too much, and so smooth they slide easily in my hand. I can use my fingers to move the beads along and just let my thumb guide them. Lovely to look at, and wonderful to use.

I bought the 12mm first which I love. The beads on strung on elastic cord. I wanted the 10mm for my wrist because 12mm were too big and the 10mm arrived strung on rigid cord instead of elastic. Can't use either for intended purpose.

I have big meaty sausage fingers and I love the way the 12 mm beads feel as I meditate. I do suggest restringing them on some hemp as the stretchy string tends to stretch out and cause gapping.

This thing is not hand knotted in between beads as a Mala should be. And they use an elastic cord so the weight of the beads creat a bouncing affect. Horrible materials all the way around! I do NOT recommend.
