I got the 4 prong 2.3 mm diamond nose ring in 19.5 gauge. It’s an excellent size. It’s not too big or too small. The post is about 7mm long so it’s short enough that it doesn’t show at the bottom of your nose. The 6 prong diamond nose ring is a little over 9mm long so it would show at the open nostril. So if you are wanting a nose ring go with the 4 prong as its stem is shorter. Now for the gauge size. My nose piercing hole is around an 18 guage, so I had no problem putting this in. If your nose ring hole is the size of a 22 gauge, then you will have to stretch out your hole in order to get it in. It is a rather uncomfortable experience but it can be done. What I did was I got a size bigger and worked my way up on the gauge scale slowly. 22g, 20g for a couple of weeks , 18g for about 3-4 weeks. When you put this nose ring in it is easier to put the diamond thread in your nose ring hole and then attach the backing and screw it in a bit and then use it to guide the backing into your nose ring hole and then screw the diamond thread the rest of the way in. Diamond tested positive for diamond on my diamond tester. It is hallmarked 14k. I have severe metal allergies and so far this I can say is solid gold not plated. I am pleased with my purchase for sure.

I knew this was and expected this to be small...I wanted small and petite. However, the measurement of 2.4mm is of the ENTIRE setting with the prongs, it is NOT the size of the diamond. Also, the diamond quality was not great, not sparkly. The post was supposed to be 9mm - that's what I needed but it wasn't even 8mm, way short. All in all, a total disappointment and I am returning it.

Shipped fast af, it is the exact size it says it is! and mine shines very well and the little diamond sparkles nicely. Not too big at all but I’m a pretty big guy. post was kinda snug at first but I love it, defiantly ain’t going anywhere. I would recommend this product to anyone that wants a very nice quality nose ring that won’t fall out! and I’m probably gonna have to buy one for my wife now too as she absolutely loves it!
