I lost one of a pair of gold balls I was given as a teen many years ago that I love. I had no idea what size I had, so I pulled out a ruler with metric measurements, since that's what most were listed as. Lovely size; I made sure I knew exactly what size I was ordering (it amazes me that most people in the US don't really know just how big/small 4mm or 8 mm are, based on most of the comments I saw). The only issue I have is that the backs are really small, which makes them a bit hard for my big fingers to handle, but they work just fine once I get them on. I spent a bit more than I wanted to, but that's due to the rising price of gold.

I bought them as a gift for Christmas. They look really nice, they're a good size. The back look sturdy and like they will stay tight. I think it was a good buy.

Didn’t think about how small 4 mm is. 4 mm is much too small when you wear only on earring in each ear. Bought them as a gift for my 16 year old granddaughter who only has one hole in each ear. My fault for not considering just how small this was.
