So I was ready to write a raving review about this gorgeous necklace when, after wearing it for around 2 hours, it broke in half.Ita a huge bummer because I was in love with this necklace.It has an incredible finish, it looks nicer than my sterling silver, in my opinion.The clasp is incredible, very easy to lock/unlock, really big and very secure.The links get twisted very easily and are pretty difficult to unkink.Overall, a very handsome, easily breakable chain.

This is a fairly heavy looking gold (plated) chain necklace. The hooking mechanism is strong and quite easy to close without assistance. The necklace, like any chain of this type, can get twisted and be somewhat difficult to straighten back out. If you find the necklace kinked, work gently with it until it will again straighten. The one we received was kinked when we opened the package, so the learning curve was immediate, but within a couple of minutes, all was well.The necklace is quite pretty and looks like a solid gold piece. We were surprised the necklace did not come in a more attractive gift box, as I can see this being bought for a gift.
