This was my first micro brand watch (unless you count Invicta back in the late 1990s), and I am extremely impressed. I have avoided micro brands mostly because many of the better looking ones are over $500, which seems like a lot of money to gamble on a watch with no pedigree and little customer support. But at the price offered here (under $200), I figured it was worth the gamble. I was not disappointed.Though it could be labeled a "sub homage," the design is different enough to sort of generically invoke other dive watches of the 1950s - 1960s rather than just the sub.The case is slightly oversized compared to a true sub and very bulky with a handsome satin finish. The watch sits tall, but shouldn't be too tall if your accustomed to wearing mechanical Seikos (the Seko NH movement is unnecessarily tall). The bezel clicks positively and lines up perfectly with the 12 and 6 o'clock positions. The bezel insert features the thinner numeric font found on the Submariner rather than the thicker font found on the Invicta Pro Diver. All indices are sharp and affixed perfectly on the dial. The scown screws down smoothly and is easy to operate. The bracelet even has hollow end links. The case boasts 300m water resistance and a helium release valve - although I will never be a saturation diver (nor will most owners of this watch), so I will never know if either the WR or the valve works (unless either fails in my pool). The sapphire crystal is clear and slightly domed, giving the watch a retro vibe. The only weak part of this watch is the bracelet. Though it has solid end links, the bracelet seems disproportionately thin compared the thickness of the case, uses sizing pins instead of screws, and has a stamped push-button deployment clasp of the type one might find on a Fossil, Nixon, or Citizen watch. For the price, the bracelet is nice enough, if not better than other offerings at this price point (and certainly better than bracelets sold with some more expensive Seikos divers), but still underwhelming when paired with the main body of the watch (again - something that seems more in the $500-$600 range). It makes me wonder if StrapCode offers a Miltat Super Oyster that would fit this watch . . .Only time will tell if this watch is durable, reliable, or water-resistant as advertised, but so far, it's off to a good start.

Not sure you could ask for more in a sub $200 watch. It's got an AR coated sapphire crystal, 300m WR, helium escape valve, 120 click rotating bezel, milled stainless steel clasp with push button deployment, crazy bright lumes, signed screw-down crown and equipped with a work-horse Seiko NH35 movement. It is a bit long, lug to lug, making it wear a tad bigger than its case diameter would lead one to believe. Also, put this in the "chunky" category, as it is a bit thick. The only thing missing is a ceramic bezel, but with everything else going for it, you cannot complain. It seems to have every bit of a 40 hour power reserve and is keeping within 5-8 seconds per day accuracy. I've got a 7 inch wrist and this is about as big as I can reasonably wear. Oh, and did I say it was chunky? If you want something that feels substantial on your wrist, that's handsome, built like a tank and loaded with features, look no further. Get one while you can at this price!

A very well made watch with a reliable workhorse movement (which hacks). Strikingly solid and heavy, well finished and attractive. Just OK on my 6.5-inch wrist if I swap the bracelet (with its male end links) for a strap. A lot of watch for the price.

When buying this timepiece you have to understand that you're getting everything you absolutely can for under $200, and a little extra. When you compare this to other watches within this piece range, you're getting specs otherwise uncommon with this price range. You're getting a sapphire glass (verified), solid stainless case and bracelet, solid end links, 120 click bezel with no backplay or loose tension, and true and tested NH35 Automatic movement.I've only had this for 24 hours and so far it has gained 4 seconds (tested and calibrated against a satélite watch). The bezel action is tight, and the crown threading is smooths. It looks like Neymar has adjusted some of the specs people have complained about. My example has the milled clasp, and the pins were smooth during the removal (a removal tool was even included, how many companies does that?)The only real complaint I have is the overall finishing. There are some semi sharp edges with bracelet. It's nothing nearly as close to doing any harm but it noticeable to touch of the finger tips. This sharpness is only apparent when handling the watch so it is never noticeable while the watch is worn. As a matter of fact, this is only noticeable if you really inspect the watch. It is not by any means a hazard as far as I can tell but I thought I'd just out this out there.I cannot comment on water resistance as I've done no water activities aside only from washing my hands. At the very least we can be rest assured it's water resistant to that extent. I doubt anyone will ever go beyond swimming but from construction of the case I wouldn't be surprised if does hold well at deep dives. The lume is sufficient, it gets the job done. Let's be real here, no one needs the lume to last for hours on end, that's just ridiculous for someone to "need" a lume to last for hours.Setting the time was smoother than I expected. I didn't expect too much but it feels solid. There's no unwanted time jump when setting the crown back into the case.Lastly, the weight. This is a heavy watch. But, it is a proportionally heavy watch. It's not top heavy with the bracelet fitted on, the weight feels evenly distributed around. One of the questions many may ask is where they cut cost. Surely a company can't sell a watch for this price with the quality that people have raved about. And you would be right. A company cannot fully afford to do so unless there are corners cut. But, one thing people don't factor in is the cost of advertising and store front. Neymar doesn't have to spend money on advertising or a storefront. All that cost a lot of money to even set up. That money more likely than not went into the production of the watch and you are now able to get a timepiece with these specs for under $200.I bought this on a whim. I watched 3 video reviews on it and everyone raved about how great the bezel action was and how well made the watch is and I needed to see for myself. It was a gamble, but my curiosity got the best of me and I'm glad it did. The bezel is crisp and locks well. There is no unwanted movement, or tin-like sound other time pieces will have.I'll update in a few months for a long term review. Don't read this as a proclamation, nor an advice to get this watch. This is a 24 hour first impression, and it's an impressive first impression.
