Even though they are kitty cats, it is subtle. You really have to look. With the freshwater pearls and diamonds chips and palatium plated sterling silver makes them very dressy and attractive. They are nice enough to be used as a bridesmaid gift to be worn in the wedding. Perfect for the cat lover that is an adult and does not want to wear anything too juvenile looking. However, they would still look well on a young teen or preteen.

These are really cute. Just a little disappointed that one has gaps where the collar is between the head and body, as shown in my photo. I did notice that in the description photo, but was hoping mine wouldn't have the same imperfection. My daughter is happy though, and doesn't think it's a big deal. For the price, I think it is, but we are keeping them anyway.
