I almost never review things, but since I've resorted to buying affordable pearls online as there are no jewelers near me with a good selection, I've come to really rely on reviews.As the other reviewer says some of the pearls do have visible defects, from pits to rings. These cannot be seen from far away, however. If you aren't looking up close the pearls look round. The color is gorgeous, peacock-like blue/green in the one I received.I recently ordered a different necklace of black pearls (in a set) for a comparable price and that necklace had far smoother, less pitted pearls. However, the color was duller and the pearls had far lower luster, and overall I prefer this strand. I'm still contemplating whether to keep or return this but thought a comparison might be helpful.
