These are exactly as pictured. I’d initially ordered two as a lot of flat back style jewelry is sold in singles. These come in a pair, with a short and long bars. The pieces feel like good quality so far. The gems are very shiny, more so than diamond or even other CZ I’ve had. I like the sparkle, but they certainly don’t look “real”, if that matters to you. The “gold” is a nice tone, not too yellow or brassy.They are so comfortable! This was the first time I’ve slept completely comfortably since getting my ears pierced. I don’t feel them at all, but no one would guess they’re flat back earrings. The 4mm is a perfect size for a lobe, noticeable but not large or heavy.One thing I will say is you need to have patience and time to insert these. Especially if you have never used screw-in piercing jewelry before. I have when I had a belly button ring as a teen, and these are way harder. I got the largest gem (4mm) and they are SO small. Inserting the posts from the back of the ear was fairly simple, but may be challenging for some. Screwing the gems in took 35 minutes to get them both the first time.My advice is to get strong tweezers, sanitized them, and use those to grip the gems. I held them at an angle that would allow me to get a half turn or so easily with the tweezers, then I hand tightened the rest of the way. I held my lobes so that the post was vertical, parallel with the mirror I was looking into, so I could see the threads going down into the post.Removal was easy and the second time inserting was a little easier and faster than the first. So I think eventually I’ll get the hang of it. But just don’t get discouraged if it takes a while the first time!Overall a great buy and worth the time to get them in, especially if you struggle to sleep with standard earrings.

Love the flat backs, very comfortable, it's like they're not even on. Not super easy to put on, as they are small and screw on, but it's okay because they're staying on for awhile. Very pretty. I haven't taken them out since I received them, and they have held up great! No signs of wear.

I got the butterfly screw in for my nose. It’s truly really pretty and comes in its own little pouch but it is so difficult to put in… if they were to elongate the stud part so it’s not just the product and a screw thing that’s about a millimeter in length the process would be easier. It took me about 45 minutes and ended up needing someone else help to put on.

These are the perfect size, shape, and metal for a petite, understated nose ring. The flat back is so comfortable and unlike any other nose jewelry I've tried. The rhinestone is very small though, as is the screwthread that feeds into the post. They are nearly microscopic. It's incredibly difficult to put the jewelry in - especially if you have any length of fingernail. I had to Google how to install a flatback into my nose (hint: you'll need a sterilized needle), but it's worth it. Also, be sure to tighten it every day. The rhinestone unscrewed accidentally (probably from blowing my nose) and was a pain to get back on.

These are so pretty and I can wear them without a skin reaction. However, the post on the end of the jewel is so tiny that it is difficult to get in to the base post, and it does not stay screwed in. I bought a pair of these two weeks ago, and both jewels have already come loose and fallen out. I couldn’t find either one of them as I was in public when it happened. So, it was a complete waste of money for me.

I have very sensitive ears so I can’t wear heavy earrings. These are really small and I can leave them in for long periods of time with no irritation. They are a bit small so it is tricky getting the front screwed on.

Review from wife - Very nice earrings with two size posts icouded but did make my ears sore. Maybe the post is a bit larger diameter than most, not sure.

The post goes in from the back of the ear to the front, then the jewel screws into the post.I chose the shorter post because I have small ear lobes and they are the perfect length. It took me a while to get the jewel screwed in because it’s a tiny hole, I have long nails, and I was doing it in the mirror (I also dropped it once and my heart stopped for a beat because of course I was in the bathroom over the sink - don’t make my mistake!) It’s possible to do alone with some patience, but if you have someone that can help that’s great!I wanted something that went with everything and I would never have to change out. They are secure and I don’t worry about them falling out. The flat back is so comfortable, I never feel it!I am very happy with them!
