I have a beautiful 18k heavier gold necklace that was too short for my taste. I brought two of these extenders and doubled both of them on each side of the clasp, plus bought a magnet extender. It’s perfect length now and extra strong so I feel very secure that it won’t break. Plus the magnet makes it extremely easy to put on and take off. I ended up doing the same with another necklace.

My clasp broken it won’t stay closed. I took it to 3 different jewelry stores & they want $120-$140 to replace the clasp. The rings were still there, just clasp was broke. so I used needle nose plier to remove broken clasp add this one & it works!!! for way way less than jeweler want to charge me & it added extra inch to my chain, I’m going buy another one as back up for my other chains.

The chain is tiny and flimsy. The photo makes it look much bigger and sturdier. It broke in less than a month.

With a loop I can only see 585 stamped on the clasp no where does it say 14k I’m going to be asking the seller why it does not say 14k. It looks to be gold and will be taking to a jeweler.
