*UPDATE* 4-6-21Here it four years later and I’m still wearing these earrings 24/7. In 2018 I purchased the second pair and have been wearing them since.*UPDATE* 9-22-2018I purchased these in January 2 of 2017. Almost two years later and I still love these earrings. I wear them 24/7 365 and have only had one come unclasped once while sleeping. Pulled the post up a tad so it locked securely and have had no other issues.I wish I could give these more then five stars. When I received these my first thought was these are too small. I tried them on anyway and they are perfect.I did experience the same issue as other reviewers of one fastened tightly and the other loosely. This problem was easily corrected by pulling the wire open slightly. I adjusted both earrings so that they are now so secure that when I want to open them I have to lightly push down on the wire to open them. This is a common issue, and fix, with all earring of this style. Even those purchased at retail jewelry stores. The reason why I purchased these off of Amazon is because retail jewelers do not carry earring this size.The quality of these earrings is a 10. By viewing the picture I thought these earrings would have 2 openings on the back hoop (to save on materials). I was surprised to see the back hoop was a solid piece, and what I thought was openings only ended up being a recessed area. On the bottom recessed area, of the back hoop, there is a 14K stamp that is visible with a 30x jewelers loop. The front of the hoop has holes behind each channel set stone, just like quality retail jewelry. The holes are there so the stones get light from more then one direction, this helps with their sparkle.This was my second purchase of 14k white gold earrings from "Children Earring by lovearing" and it will not be my last. Their 14k white gold causes no issues with my sensitive ears, and their petite size means they fit into my work requirement of being less then a half inch. I have included photos and the studs they are shown with are 14k white gold with 3mm Swarovski Elements Stone for size comparison.
