I loved the screw-back. The earrings don't fall off and they don't get caught when I need to wear a mask. I try to only buy screw-back earrings and wish there were more available and would have loved to find the amethyst with a white gold, but amethyst is my birthstone, so this works.

These were a gift. We were excited when received. They are very pretty! Two things that will have these sitting in a drawer. #1 The screw on back does not extend very far on the stem. #2 The stem itself seems short when putting on. The earrings seem more for a child when looking at the size of the stem. The screw on back is very small so be careful trying to put it on. I don't think my daughter has thick ear lobs but these earring stems just didn't seem long enough, but it could be it was an optical illusion as the screw on back doesn't extend very far on the stem. My daughter liked the color but does not feel comfortable wearing them as she fears the screw on back will fall off. Most likely she will look for another kind of back so she can wear these. Product arrived in a very nice box and was packaged well.

The screw doesn't go on the post very far. I have regular adult-sized ears and the backs don't screw on as tightly as I would like. If we were buying these for a child, I imagine they would flop around a lot. Not as nice looking as I'd hoped but okay.
