I ordered it to replace an old sterling silver St. Christopher - my first - given to me as a gift many years ago by two married friends of mine, one of whom has since passed away. It held very high sentimental value to me but needed to be retired.When I opened the package, I was blown away by this medal's appearance and quality. It was beyond what I had expected. Kinda got me a bit emotional...it was difficult to store the old one away because of its history but this medal will fill its shoes well and honor their introduction of St. Christopher to me.It's very classy, extremely handsome and worth every penny and more.
