I wasn't concerned about losing earrings or backs but was having problems with backs cutting into her ears. I tried the backs with plastic discs and then the studs cut into her ears. These screw on but the posts are covered so they can't get too close to the ear! Her poor angry piercings healed right up.

They are pretty and the size is nice for an infant up to a 4 yr old. I got them for my 4 yr old daughter. One of the screwback caps would loosen very easily and I found myself constantly tightening it. Less than a week wearing them it came of while my daughter was sleeping - we found the earring but not the backing. I ordered separate screwbacks that had 2 holes to engage with the screw shaftr threads from another company and they were too big for the screw shaft. If you do buy these, I would make sure that they both stay snug on the screw shaft. If you find yourself continuously tightening a cap I would email the seller for another backing. That is what I did.

I haven't worn earrings for years because I have a metal allergy and can't even use surgical steel earrings, but I didn't want to pay a lot for14k gold. These are a nice simple style to wear daily and the price was right. I've worn these for 5 days and I haven't had any bad reactions, so they're 14k for sure. They're also larger than I thought they'd be, and the backs don't screw in very far. I think they'd be kind of big for a small kid or baby. They'd be fine on a big kid or adult. They're so pretty, and very flat which is what I was wanting. They're perfect, I'm really happy with my purchase.

I purchased these earrings as a gift for my little girl. She wanted to get her ears pierced for her birthday. It took us a while to actually get her ears pierced, but when we did, the earring back would not stay on. It was striped on the inside of the earring back.I contacted the company to ask for a replacement earring back, but they told me that they only guarantee their jewelry for 30 days! The person I corresponded with through messaging said they would ask the manager and get back to me, but they were pretty sure they would say no! I never heard back, even after messaging again.I am super displeased with the customer service. I wasn’t asking to have my entire order replaced, and I wasn’t asking for a refund. I just wanted an earring back that would screw on to the post. For almost $40, this was a huge disappointment. I purchased other earring screw backs to see if one would work, but I could not find a replacement to fit. I went to a jeweler who suggested a silicone earring back, but the post was to tiny to hold one.I ended up having to buy another pair of earrings and switch out my daughter’s one earring after being pierced for only a week, which was painful.I do not recommend buying from this company.

I bought these for myself, thinking they might be a bit small but took the risk anyway, and I’m so glad I did! I wouldn’t certainly buy this as your main earring if you’re an adult, but I bought them for the second lobe piercing that I have and they are absolutely perfect! They aren’t too small so as to not be seen and they are not too large as to take away from my main earring on my primary piercing. I like them so much I want to get them for my little niece, and they are gold so they will be an heirloom one day. Oh and I have to add that the backing is super comfortable and very secure.
