The first impression of my wife when she saw her present was: They are too small, they look like earrings for a 5 year old girl, I said just try them on and see if you like them...She said she liked them, but I know she was not completely satisfied.Anyways she did not want to return them, but probably because it was a gift.So they are pretty and good quality, but too small.

Arrived timely however very disappointed with the Emeralds they look like colored glass..Don't like the hassel of returning so will keep....Will think twice before ordering again..for $79.00 they certainly were not a good buy. Thank goodness I had free shipping.

As others have stated, these earrings are very, very small. Mine measured: emerald top to bottom: 3/16" , side to side: 2/16". Measurement with the gold around the emerald was 1/16" more in both directions. Though I was warned by previous reviews, I didn't truly appreciate how small these were going to be. They really do look like little girl earrings. However, that said, the gold lever back itself seems to be of good quality and the emeralds are pretty. There really isn't anything wrong with these earrings except the size. They are not a bargain, but their cost is probably about where it should be.
