It was pretty, but smaller than I expected. The gold band is more solid than the previous one I bought from a store that will remain nameless, and the opal looks to be more secure at the base as opposed to another one I bought. The opals are more brilliant in this ring also, I think the band is sturdy but for the price I really was expecting more. I bought it for my daughter, she seems to like it.......... she does wear it, so that is a plus! Next time, I'll just spend a little more and pay more attention to the actual measured size!

The ring looked great, just what my 8th grade daughter wanted for graduation. She loved it until she tried to put it on and it wouldn't fit. We ordered a 6 1/2 and the box said it was a 6 1/2 but too small. We went to our local jeweler to verify she that is in fact a 6 1/2. Also she noticed the Opal was loose, so the ring has been return for a size 7 and hopefully a ring with a Opal in a good setting. Sad part for us was that it was a bit of a disappointment for my High Honors daughter's 8th graduation.
