I really wanted to like this necklace, but it's so dainty (not in the description). However, for it's size, it is a solid piece with some weight. The sparkly chain is adjustable, however the rings are quite small making it hard to fasten, so if you have long nails, you may need a little help. It is stamped 14k (if that's important to you). This necklace would be great for a tween, teen or any gal who likes demure, delicate, dainty jewelry. The hearts are soldered together so they are not independent of each other. This is well made, pretty and hearts are slightly puffed (finished back), so there's no wrong way to wear this necklace. For my taste I would like to have seen this a little larger, but for the money, at 14k gold, the price isn't bad. This would make a nice Christmas, birthday, anniversary or just because gift.
